Children crave discipline, they want to be corrected and to know their boundaries. You will harm a child for life if you do not correct and guide a child. As the parent, you know what is best for the child, and sometimes, even though it is hard to punish a child, the hard road of punishment is the right road. The bible even says, "to spare the rod, is to spoil the child." I am a teacher, so I feel I am somewhat of an expert when it comes to dealing with children.
