The tax can be called any name, what is important is for the people of Zambia to get something from their natural resources unfortunately which are a waste asset, once depleted will never come back. If the current agreement cannot be renegotiated, we need to pass many laws which will somehow bring Zambia to get what it deserves if that is the only way we can get something without violating the current aggreement. I am sure the aggreement is not immune from new taxes as may be brought by parliament. The copper transportation desptroys a lot of roads for example, but the mines do not pay anything directly towards their maintenance.
