My Ruby programming tutorial was taken verbatim and published on an Italian site with no references to my site and above all under the name of the person who stole the content. I was alerted by some Italian students and was able to trace down the 'stealer'. The 'stealer' was good enough to accept the mistake and removed his/her name and gave due credit to my site/tutorial. Probably I was lucky and wonder if my tutorial has been published in other languages on someone else's name!

It won't be much comfort, I know, but not only was our IP obtained by deception and scanned to be used online in a smear blog against my colleague and I, but it features on Blogspot owned by Google who won't do anything to curb this abuse. Not in China but the US and UK.

The problem is that the blog being ripped is hosted on a free service like wordpress.com where you don't have any control on the site, otherwise it would've been fairly easy to block this guy from the site.
