I guess the mountains are the Spanish equivalent of a jungle? As far as I can see on the posters in town, there was an award for who had the best costume on horseback too!

That’s interesting Solana, at the jungle’s towns here the old tradition is to going picnic too, usually next to the river or a lake.

In the small village in Spain where I am visiting, they celebrate San Juan with picnics in the surrounding mountain valleys.
