“An explosion has been reported in the Sid el Baucherieh suburb of Beirut, next to the Mar Ta2la church. The exact time of the explosion was 8:15 pm, coinciding with a meeting of security officials at the Prime Minister's offices in the Saraya.

According to a report Mehdi Khazali's wife and daughter were kidnapped by the security forces and moved to an unknown place.Khazali is a blogger and publisher who had been sentenced to 14 years in prison but later a court revised his jail term to four years and half. The blogger has been on hunger strike for 38 days.
