Rocky's Bru points to a new project by the leading English newspaper in Malaysia to build a blog directory. The backers of the project herald it as a victory for freedom of speech. Rocky also links to another blogger who is not fully convinced with this idea.

It is a good idea.There is nothing wrong with having another directory.However, the backers must be able to differentiate true bloggers from newsportal.Some bloggers regularly lift news from mainstream media and also published other writer’s articles.Some don’t even bother to check the accuracy of the story they published.
