Egypt: Breast-feeding Adults

Palestinian blogger Amal A is in stitches over the latest Egyptian Islamic university Al Azhar fatwa, which stipulates that a woman can nurse or breast-feed a grown up man, if they are to work together in an office without a male chaperon. Bahraini Mahmood Al Yousif warns us not to laugh when he gives us his take on the issue.

  • What can I say? it is a great opportunty for men to have a suck free of charge. It saddens me to see what the west are trying to do to take the world one step ahead and what the Arabs and Mulims are trying to do. Is there going to be an emd to that? I wonder

One question. Lactation occurs only under specific physiological conditions, so the actual fluid may not always be available for breast feeding. Does the fatwa authorize a kind of ‘dry run’ where the male co-worker merely goes through the act of breast-feeding from his female co-worker without actually being able to imbibe the fluid? And does such act, without the actual flow, constitute a maternal attribute?

  • Thank you for your interest Iasius, but this fatwa has since been revoked.. and it’s perpetrator is facing disciplinary action.

      WELL,

Even if this fatwas was revoked, still this is a Hadith Sahih from the prophet of Islam.
Again and again, it shows that the prophet of Islam, built this human religion on his own and intimate sexual desires.
I wonder when muslim women will step up and realize that they are mere sexual gadgets in the hand of males following the footsteps of their so called prothet.

I have never found such a Hadith can you give reference to it ,and mind it that our PROPHET has given prestigious status to women. It seems you are misguided and provoking oters to do the same.
