Hopefully one day, these folks will agree that information technology has come and will stay with us forever. Those who fail to embrace it will just vanish into the thin air.

If anyone can write a news feeds on Nigeria, they need to do it without waiting new media to do it.

What were the role of these so call independent media, when all formers governors were running their states treasury like an extension of their bank account.Where were they to blow the whistle?

This site: http://www.WelcomeToNigeria.com lists the name of most Newspapers published in Nigeria. The site uses the newspapers’ graghic headings for the arrangement. Try it!

Nigerian news organisations are either too worried about competition or simply stupid.

We wrote to many of them offering our feed writer and feed reader free. Only two firms (New Nigeria and Vanguard) visited the web site and registered free. However, they did not try to utilise the RSS services offered.

Until today, those news firms remain without RSS feed and they are stupidly ignoring it´s benefits. Just like the cell phone, Nigerian will always be the last to embrace new technologies.

Please, tell them to register free at http://www.xmlnewsreader.com . There they can use the feed write to write their feed in .xml or .rss file formats and provide it on their site for public subscriptions.

It’s actually sad to say the least, however I actually feel it’s up to us who know this technolgy to try to spread the goodnews Rss tech and others in it’s league. that is wat we ought to do!

I share your pain – you’re very correct. However, checkout http://www.NigerianHotspot.com and there you will find news about Nigeria, Lagos, etc. – Real time, countously updated as news events occur. They are news about Nigeria that are updated from RSS feeds across the internet.

It is very unfortunate that there are no RSS feeds on nigerian news media. I am someone that likes having detailed and latest information about Nigeria but unfortunately will have to wait till the next day to get whatever news and information I want. The Nigerian Television Authority is the wosrt. Their website is as stagnant as a log of wood,no updated news and information. Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation have to take this up. I beleieve it is all about spending quality Money on Information Technology.
