Is the blocking of mobile SMS unlawful? SMS is a kind for communication and the communication is not prohibited by the Cambodian Constitution. While the government open communication through phone talk, it closes communication through SMS during the election. If the action of the government is wrong, why does the government allow communication through phone talk at the same period of election days? Noteworthy is that the voter was banned to use their handphone when entering into the voting room. Outside the voting room, voter could use their mobile phone as normal. However, I just wonder are there such ban in non-Cambodia countries regarding the use of SMS during the election day?
