I don't know who makes me more sick, the self indulged thais or the foreign weirdos in Thailand. I have been living 4 years in Bkk and I only have seen one foreign beggar, namely the one sitting outside the Intercon on the bts skywalk. No wonder thais got such a low opinion of us westerners. For the thais, we are all trash anyway, except we dress in suit and (neck) tie and work for a multinational company at all seasons place. So this white beggar boy makes a thousand baht a day. Fantastic. All the thousand thai beggars around him also make that much, if not more. The only kick for the thais to give the white guy money is that they can go back home to their friends and family and tell them, I gave a 'farang' beggar some money.
