KT:
My apology if this makes any confusion or upsets you.
The reason I listed this post under Taiwan, China, and Hong Kong (China) is Chiang Kai-Shek played a role in the history of these three areas.

Why is this post listed under Hong Kong? What's the connection here?

It is bad if politicians put their own political benefit before people's benefit when they try to induce conflict.
However, the value of this building is hard to define. It is like Franco's grave in Spain. It is controversial because it is a political monument belong to someone who is indicted as a dictator by many Taiwanese, and it is not that old.
We would better not value this building only from a tourist' view and think it is the whole story, although this perspective must be put into consideration.

It's very sickening to understand the that fact that politicians put higher priority in term of political mileage rather than preserving the historical value.

It's one of the the place that's able to attract tourist into Taiwan and when I was there recently, I look at it as a historical monument for the people of Taiwan, not a statue for the Guo Ming Tang.

Is this the kind of Government Taiwanese ppl voted into the administration? Eliminating the invaluable historial value due to the political difference?
