Algerian blogger Lameen Souag laments the death of yet another language here. “Somebody get over there and make some recordings of Harsusi,” he urges.

    It is true that Harsusi with the spread of school education and modern civilizational progress - which are good indeed - is under pressure. This language of oral non-written MSA languages is a language of countries folklore and daily speach - like any local Arabic dialect. But it is a Semitic non-Arabic language sure.
    There are some Harsusi as well as some other Modern South Arabian languages MP3 examples at SemArch website of Heidelberg University in Germany.
