I have watched what you have done and have been inspired by your work. Right now, while working a "real job" to pay the bills, I have been rescuing greyhounds from Wisconsin racetracks and finding good homes for them. We have successfully closed two of the three racetracks in that state. My own rescued greyhound gives back by regularly working as a pet therapy dog for our injured vets coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan. As I used to live in India, I am well aware of the situation I am facing regarding government officials and establishing a non-profit as an ex-pat, but my main concern is how to get seed funding to start the project and how one proceeds to endowments to continue growth and expansion into other areas of India (and hopefully other areas in the Indian Ocean and Asia).
