But having not only read about the emergent sex slave trade, but having visited Eastern Europe and talked to people there, I'd like to help by providing emotional support to freed victims of this trade. I'm afraid that I have only a beginner's knowledge of Russian, but I should be able to translate Russian and Ukrainian-language letters, with help from native-speakers if necessary. Basically I'd like to convince victims that life despite these atrocities is worth living, because not all men are like the traffickers or their clientele, and not all people are indifferent to their anguish. World society seems to in a downward spiral of nihilistic sexual violence, and I want to help counteract this. Spasiba.
