The key is to increase general technological literacy, to increase the number of people who can blog, so that “when the real needs arises, you already have these networks.”

I totally agree. In the covering of the recent Venezuelan presidential elections, Elecciones 3D, a lot of bloggers got involve even when they usually don’t blog about politics.

Reaching out to the youth and luxury deprived Indians(where owning a computer or a laptop is still considered to be luxury) to come out and blog will bring a revolutionary change in the society. Freedom of expression is a duty to oneself. I missed Global Voices Indian Summit 2006, but found a sense of relief to realize that you people are taking all effort and time to post about it here.
