There have been few very brief reports in England concerning this sickening occurrence.
I must agree that though there could be mental health issues concerning the assailant, I’m not sure this can be said for the onlookers who have a responsibility to each other & each other’s children. & I feel intervention should have been the main concern.
Sure no one wants to get chopped but is it not pure chance that others in the crowd never suffered the same fait?
Is it not everyone’s civil duty?
Does Love thy neighbour only extend to your fence in the yard?
As a foreign national I hasten to add that all of us stand proud & profess to St.Vincent being a far more loving place.
The perception of SVG is one of firm but loving & respectful peoples of highly valid morals.
Small as it seems the residents of St.Vincent need to remember that when something of this magnitude happens involving a collective of peoples it starts to point at this being a collective ideal.
This in turn dissuades tourists for fear of being amongst hostiles.
I hope Home is healing after this shocking ordeal
Equally I hope the lesson will be learned from it.

After reading about this gruesome murder I was puzzeled. My question is " what was the crowd doing? Just watching a young woman being chopped into pieces? What does it tell us?" I do not think the crowd had to wait for a police to come. They are slow anyway. They always arrive at the crime scene after the crime has been committed.

I am sick to my stomac and in tears how a beautiful ife has been destroyed in such an ugly way while the people watched. I blame not only the culprit who did it but the whole crowd who watched this happening.
