Who told you Maid abusers and Rapists go unpunished in Saudi, Infact the saudi Court beheaded hundreds of Saudi men found guilty of murders and rapes.

My daughter is married to John, a first generation Philippine/American, and because of that I have been learning about the Philippines. One of the things I learned about is that many poor Philippina women take jobs overseas as domestic workers at great personal sacrifice, and many of them are very sadly mistreated, and it seems Saudi Arabia is the worst abuser of these defensless women (I refer particularly to Human Rights Watch and the US CIA World Factbook for Saudi Arabia). It seems the Saudi government does not make any effort to prosecute Saudi abusers and rapists or do anything to protect these most vulnerable poor women. I was therefore pleased to read about the conviction of Saudi Al-Turki in Colorado, USA, and the conviction of American Marine Daniel Smith of rape in the Philippines, both men recieving serious sentences. Both cases send a message that ANY woman has a right to say no, and that they will be protected and the rapist/abuser severely punished. I am anxiously looking forward to the Human Rights Watch findings from its current look at Saudi Arabia, and hoping that Saudi Arabia takes steps to protect these most vulnerable poor women in a manner that reflects well on the religion and people of Saudi Arabia.
