Hi. What is he name of that Christmas song with the lyrics “Laughing children tug at Mr. Santa, teddy bears and dollies saying mama”
i have been looking for this same song for the past 3 weeks but i cannot get an origanal copy of this song all i know is Lennox Gray sang it and i think the name is “around my christmas tree” or “laughing Children”
The name of the song is “Laughing Children” and I think you’re right about the singer too.
Thanks a lot for your responses! I called 97fm and the dj said the name of the song is “Around my Christmas tree” by Lennox Grey released in 1971. However, I too cannot locate it anywhere on the net. I haven’t even heard it on the radio.
Who sang the sombrero song? There’s also another one about a girl and her teeth by the same man… And what are the proper names of those songs?
I tried looking for Around the Christmas Tree and I couldn’t find it either.
Some friends and I were trying to get “Laughing Children” for a while on the net as well as our homeland (Trinidad), to no avail. The only way to get it was on record/LP and convert to CD. The quality obviously was not cd because you could hear some scratches, but nevertheless it was like finding gold for us. It brought back childhood Christmas memories for all of us. Anyway I have a copy of the album, but I’m not a computer whiz so I don’t know how to upload, etc., but I live in the Mississauga/Toronto area in Canada, so if you or someone you know is close to my area, I will be more than happy to copy it for you! My e-mail is mrtnt_00@hotmail.com. Under the subject heading in your e-mail put “laughing children” cause I junk any mail that I don’t recognize.
I forgot to specify that the album has his songs as well as other artists.
can some one please sent me the lyrics to “laughing children”

that song is called “round my christmas tree.” i have been looking for it for over 20 years. i have known the lyrics all my life and finally gave up finding the music for it. so, my brother i and figured out chords for it on our own. they may or may not be correct, but they work.
two years ago i heard a recent version done in a kind of dance club soca style. i don’t know who did that one either.
i have never known who wrote and sang that song originally. does anyone know?
i hope the forum lines up the chords on the words properly.
