The mistreatment of Ngugi wa Thiong'o in California, “After a relaxing morning of a good walk and breakfast, he returned to his hotel to sit in the veranda section of the Hotel restaurant reading his newspaper. What happened next could have been a scene from a pre-Civil Rights Era of a Black man caught in a “White Only” section of a hotel.”

As a kenyan i am obviously disturbed by the whole issue about how Ngiugi wa Thiongo was treated by the said hotel. However i feel that the hotel should not be pushed too much to the wall even after doing too much to show remorse for the mistakes coused by one un informed employee. Yes it was bad but lets not make it a topic beyond what it has already been made and lets accept the apology from the hotel management knowing that even ourselves in africa have our own misfits and we expect to be listened at when we say we are sorry.Lte s not kill then hotel because of one racist employee.
