My wife and children left by highway for safe haven in Puebla at 5:30 and as of 8:10 they were still stuck in traffic on the far northwest side of the city, in front of the Tec University. That's still about 5 miles short of Etla and the toll road to Puebla, usually a 20 minute trip, at most. The official Buenos Aires city government blog summarizes the results of a recent survey on inequality between men and women in Argentina's capital city [ES]: “8 out of 10 Buenos Aires residents call their society very or somewhat ‘machista.' Furthermore, 70% think that women must do more to compete with men in the workplace … 59.5% of respondents did not put down the name of a single woman that they admire. Among those who did declare admiring a woman, only 73% could remember the name.
