We read in Sos Sanjari blog that Mehdi ( Kianoosh) Sanjari, blogger and human rights activist was arrested during disturbances in Tehran. He was there to report about the event. There is also an online petition in English to demand his urgent release.

According to a report Mehdi Khazali's wife and daughter were kidnapped by the security forces and moved to an unknown place.Khazali is a blogger and publisher who had been sentenced to 14 years in prison but later a court revised his jail term to four years and half. The blogger has been on hunger strike for 38 days.
