The signing of the Military Commissions Act gives censors a powerful tool.
If they find something that offends them, they can arrest the artists strip them of citizenship and jail them without trial.
Indeterminate sentences handed out, the Act transforms them into enemy combatants. Avoiding such niceties as human rights habeus corpus and the rule of law, the officials are free to torture the inmates until they adjust to the new norms.
This opens new areas for censor.activities.
