		<description>Veronica,

I found this article on Google while searching for something else and was so pleased to come across it. Very well done. Thank you for representing the women of Israel so well during this situation.

		<description>Hi,
What powerful accounts of war. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kathryn Robinson and I am part of the editorial team of the Imagining Ourselves project, a global online exhibit featuring art, photographs, essays and film by young women and men in their 20s and 30s responding to the question &quot; what defines your generation of women?&quot; We have an entire two month module coming up in November-December 2006 on War and Dialogue.

These stories are precisely the themes we are trying to address for the exhibit. I urge ALL women in conflict zones who would like to have their voices heard, to submit their writings, poetry and artwork for consideration in the exhibit. It is very important that women from all countries be represented in this exhibit.

HERE IS A TRUNCATED VERSION OF THE CURRENT CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS:
Women&#039;s Perspectives
Let us take you beyond the headlines and show you how war is affecting the lives of young women around the world-both in conflict zones and outside them. As a result of recent fighting, millions of people are living in diaspora, migration is the trademark of this generation; what is it like to start a new life in a new place? We are interested to hear your personal experiences, your thoughts on media stereotypes of certain religious and ethnic groups, and your views on how violent conflict has affected your life. What are the positive contributions young women are making towards resolving wars- both in their own countries and globally? The media doesn&#039;t tell us all the stories, especially once the world has moved on to the next hotspot. Tell us yours!

Please email Kathryn Robinson at ioinfo@imow.org with any questions or concerns about he exhibit!

May peace find all of you.

Warmly,

Kathryn Robinson
