We had the IRA bombing innocent people in pursuance of an ideal. They were irreligious, but nominally Catholics "worshipping" the same God. At least they used to give warnings, but the two warring factions in Iraq, Sunni and Shia, are practising Muslims, and live by the teachings of the Koran. Where does it tell them to torture hideously their own kind, and murder indiscriminately in pursuance of THEIR agenda. Talk about confused - I certainly am. Believe it or not, the Coalition wants Iraqis to live in democratic peace, their women to be free, their children to be educated, to reform a society that boasts one of the most ancient civilisation in the world.
