Dear all,

http://www.Bloglenta.ru is a guide to the Russian blogosphere.

Everyday our editors look through hundreds of blogs, choosing the most interesting entries (posts) and providing links to them with a short annotation at www.bloglenta.ru.

Bloglenta.ru publishes 100 – 150 “news from blogosphere” every day. Bloglenta.ru is a key to the Russian blogoshere, its first “information agency”.

Yours sincerely,
MichaelIvanchenko

Hello all,

Not in Russian, not in English, but in Dutch: Remco's Rusland. The experiences of a correspondent in Moscow. If you can't read Dutch (who can?), you can check out the pictures, cartoons or films that I frequently post.

All the best to all,
Remco

Dear Veronica,

Thank you very much for your assortment of blogs on the region. Being recent to blogging, it's just what I need to see what other people write about and be able to comment on this. Keep up the good work!

Yours,

Hello All,

I have started a blog on youth politics in Russia and the CIS and would really appreciate your comments. Site here: http://youthpolitics.blogspot.com/

This is my first blog, and I am looking for some feedback. I would like to eventually develop a Russian language version and mould it into a forum/market place for young activists to meet and exchange ideas.

Veronica,
Thanks for making this list and also for mentioning my blog.
There is also the new mail.ru blogosphere, but I wish it had more functionality.

As for blogs on Moscow by Muscovites, my blogroll lists a number of Russian-language blogs on Live Journal.

On a side note, I think it'd be great if more of us did geourl tagging and used features like feedmap to create a neighblog map...

On another side note, I'm very interested in organizing a blogger conference this fall in Moscow (maybe make it both online and offtime at the same time. And I have an excellent format for such an event. If anybody would like to talk to me about this, drop me a line.

Veronica, thanks so much for mentioning my blogs. I see and hear things every day that I want to blog about, but I just haven't had the time lately. I'll be back, though.

And a new blog (which reminds me very much of my very own "Scraps" in slice-of-life mode, only better) definitely worth noting is Snowsquare.com - http://snow-square.blogspot.com/

[...] Global Voices Online: “Everyone in Russia seems to have a LiveJournal, and that huge, cacophonous Russian-language playground (and, often, a battleground) dwarfs what would otherwise be considered a pretty sizable English-language blogosphere. So sizable, in fact, that I have to issue this disclaimer: the annotated Russia blogroll below is, most likely, far from being exhaustive – even though compiling it has totally exhausted me.” more… Technorati Tags: Blogosphere, Moscow, Moskau, Blogosphere, Moscow, Moskau Comments: ...
