According to blogger Carne, Bus Workers Union (Syndicate) in Tehran has announced on Sunday 25th of December a general bus strike in defense of their colleagues who were fired. Union also wants better conditions for work and a salary raise.
According to Harfi baraye Goftan (a word to say) a few responsibles of Union have already been arrested. (Persian)

We have had a strike of transportation workers in New York a few days ago. It was quickly put down by the government.
I hope your workers fare better than ours did.

Thnx for your attention to iranian workers

they will strike on sunday in reaction to arresting their leader aslanlou. his location is not known till now after arresting by the police . HOPE VICTORY

NYC workers did stage an illegal strike and they got away with it but in Iran poor workers have no rights.

Please do not compare Tehrani workers to NYC transit workers. It is not fair
