Why did the Israelis get an advance warning?

The Foreign Ministry stated Wednesday that no Israeli tourists are known to have been injured in the blasts. Representatives of Israel’s embassy in Amman were in contact with local authorities to examine any report of injured Israelis, but none were received.

Thanks to all who have replied. My friends are safe. They were in the hotel Le Meridien – roughly a mile away from the blasts. Great news for us and their families. However, we are deeply saddend by the carnage and loss of innocent lives. A terrible tragedy for Jordan, the world and humanity.
