		<description>Lisa did not mention that many Israeli bloggers posted recollections of the assassination that diverge from the standard summary given here. For example - the square in which the rally was held cannot physically hold more than 300,000 people - the inflation to 500,000 people is part of the mythologizing of Rabin by the left in Israel.

In the year preceding Rabin&#039;s murder, that same square in Tel-Aviv had already seen several rallies of up to 250,000 people opposing the Oslo peace plan. The assassination was used to silence and demonize all dissent from the far-left&#039;s peace plan, despite the growing campaign of terror on Israel&#039;s streets.
