Contemplantation should Continue
Professor A. Bahar

Buddhism is a religion of nonviolence and peace. "A young monk by candlelight, brow furrowed in not quite peaceful contemplation” is a sign of Burma today. But the ontemplantation should Continue, because it is about self understanding, self restraint, love; qualities the Military junta should learn from the meditating seeminglyly nonpolitical monk.

Spiritually, the Monks face shows his inner unhappiness at the plight of refugees to Burma's neighbouring countries. Just yesterday about 50 of them who were Rohingyas with Children (Burmese human beings)while trying to cross the Naf River to Bangladesh the boat capsized.
