The recent “crackdown” on Clinics performing Abortions in Indonesia occured again yesterday in Jakarta. A Clinic in Central Jakarta was raided by uniformed “Officers” in a another typical case of the enforcement of a draconian law by uneducated, misguided public servants.
At no time was the wellbeing of the patients considered.
Indonesia is a Majority Moslem State but recognises all Religions, and this anti Abortion Law must be revised. The “illegal” abortions will continue to occur, so a Clinic that is Government Controlled, Sterile and well Managed would only be positive for the Health of Indonesian Women in General.
