It's great to see, that people in Africa are adapting to the Democratic process. The only way we can change things for a better tommorow for the continent is by not being quiet, but by speaking up and standing up for those who have no voice.
Thanks for those who have helped provide a voice for the typically-negative stereotyped attitude towards the continent for centuries.

This is really encouraging to me! I've been wanting to blog for a long time, but I kept asking myself "what is the use of a blog in Africa?" thanks for letting me see the light. So now I've started my very own blogs! Yay! (You can find them at http://davidmends.blogspot.com
Any handle on how to apply for those cameras?

Now this is a major coup by the folks over at BBC Online, what a goldmine and it appears at first glance that they are hosting the blogs as well. Just when Femi Oke & Co. were re-tooling Inside Africa over at CNNI they get a broadside from the BBC in Britain. Why can't our (U.S.) news agencies and media companies do more stuff like this??

Looks like there is a lot of good reading ahead for the rest of the Summer, Fall, and Winter. Thanks for the tip EZ.

Maybe this has allready been discussed at great length, but I sure wish the audio files on sites like this were available in MP3 and not just Real format. What a bummer! Would not any benevolent media organization enable me to listen to their audio content on my MP3 player? NPR does the same thing, and it drives me absolutely nuts.
